Join artist Toki Oshima at The Maine Organic Marketplace for an evening of art and inspiration.
Her delightful artwork has become a cherished part of MOFGA’s quarterly newspaper, The Maine Organic Farmer & Gardener (The MOF&G), and she won the 2016 Common Ground Country Fair artwork contest for her colorful chard piece. Her work is instilled with an appreciation for nature and simple joys — gardening, farming and dancing.
Oshima will debut new and vibrant 11-by-14-inch art prints at this event. This event is being offered on a sliding scale from $15 to $40. A $40 ticket price will include a print of your choice.
During the craft time of the event participants will create their own scratchboard illustration using ink and a pointed nib. We will have a variety of sizes of boards for you to choose from, and simple templates of ideas if you would like help coming up with subject matter. You’ll go home with a finished board to celebrate the return of the growing season.
